At Prospect Detailing to understand the existing paint condition we start with a thorough exterior wash and decontamination of the paint to remove any contaminates that will hinder the next stages.

Now that we can see the defects in your paint properly with multiple types of lighting whether it be scratches, wash induced scratches or bird dropping etchings we can now restore your paintwork with the necessary steps ranging from a light polish, heavy cut or in some cases multiple stages of cutting then polishing.

Once the finish is at a satisfactory standard depending on time, cost and appearance we prepare the surface with a wipe down to remove leftover polish and oils that may cause inadequate bonding of the coating. The paint is now considered virgin paint, ready for application.

We then begin application of the ceramic coatings, taking our time and double checking every inch of your vehicle with multiple lights to ensure all areas are coated and levelled down.

We also apply separate coatings made for headlights, tail lights, plastics, and wheel faces (extra for wheel off detail and coating inside/out of wheels + brake calipers.)
